Account & Subscription

Registration only asks for a username and password — no email address. This group covers how to get, update and keep your subscription link safe.

Do I need an email address to sign up for VPNAK?

No. Registration only asks for a username and password — no email address required. Once you fill those in, you can log in to the user panel. Pick a username that isn't tied to your real identity; you'll use it later to sign in on clients and to open tickets.

What is a subscription link, and where do I get one?

A subscription link is the address your client reads server configurations from — it's effectively part of your account credentials. After logging in to the user panel, copy it from the Downloads & Subscription section and paste it into your client to import every server. Never forward your subscription link to anyone or paste it in public: if it leaks, it's the same as handing your account to someone else.

I switched to a new device — do I need to buy a plan again?

No. VPNAK allows unlimited simultaneous devices; a plan is tied to your account, not to a device. Install the client on the new device, sign in with the same account and import the subscription link, and you can use the plan's remaining data right away. Your old device can keep working too.

What if I forget my password?

On the user panel login page, choose the recovery option and follow the on-screen steps to reset it. If you can't complete the reset yourself, open a ticket explaining the situation and support will help. After a reset, it's best to fetch the subscription link again on each device and re-import it into your client.

Can I share one account with my family?

Yes. Simultaneous devices are unlimited, so the computers, phones and tablets at home can share one account. Just don't send the subscription link to anyone outside your household — the more people use it, the more your server choices affect each other, and the greater the risk to your account security.

Connection & Troubleshooting

Connected doesn't mean your traffic is actually going through the server. This group covers routing rules, subscription updates and common failures on public networks.

The client says it's connected, but web pages won't load. What should I do?

First check whether your traffic is really going through the server: open an IP lookup page and see if the exit location has changed. If it hasn't, the usual cause is a routing rule excluding that app, or the system proxy not taking effect. Try, in order: switching to another server, changing the client mode from rule-based to global, and fully quitting the client before reconnecting.

Why won't a certain app go through the proxy?

Most clients route by rules by default, sending only matched domains or apps through the server and letting everything else use your local network. If an app's traffic isn't covered by a rule, you get the connected-but-not-routed situation. The fix is to add it manually to the proxy list in the client's per-app routing, or temporarily switch to global mode.

The server list didn't change after I updated my subscription?

Subscription configs are cached locally, so the client has to actually re-fetch them. Tap Update Subscription manually in the client, then quit completely and start it again — only then does the list refresh. If it still doesn't change, copy the subscription link again and re-import it; that rules out a truncated or incomplete copy.

Importing my subscription failed with an 'invalid link' error?

First check that the link was copied in full — browser address bars and chat apps often truncate long links or add a trailing space. Next, confirm your current network can open the user panel. If your client supports several import formats, try another one. If it still fails, log back in to the panel and copy the latest link; the old one may have expired.

Why can't I connect on public Wi-Fi?

Some public networks block non-standard ports or require you to complete a web login first. In that case, use a browser to confirm you're signed in to the network, then switch servers and try again; you can also try another server, or test on a different network to tell whether the problem is the environment or your account. VPNAK encrypts the whole connection with bank-grade encryption, which is safer than joining open Wi-Fi directly.

Speed & Servers

Server types, peak-hour performance and how to choose, alongside the regional list on the locations page.

Peak-hour slowdowns — how should I pick a server?

Peak-hour bottlenecks usually come from congestion at cross-border gateways, not your local bandwidth. Prefer IEPL dedicated-line servers such as Singapore · IEPL Dedicated Line: these run on separate channels and are less affected by public gateway fluctuations. Next, try a geographically close server such as Japan · Direct. If you're only watching video, switching to a less crowded regional server is often more effective than reconnecting over and over.

What's the difference between IEPL dedicated lines, relay and direct connections?

Direct connects straight from your location to an overseas node — the shortest path, good for browsing and video calls. Relay first connects to a relay point and forwards to the target node, which is more stable and suits peak hours. IEPL dedicated lines run on separate enterprise-grade channels that don't compete with public traffic — the most stable of the three, and the best fit for long video sessions or AI tools.

What do the latency numbers in the server list mean?

The latency figure is the time for one handshake from your client to the server entry point, measured in milliseconds — lower usually means faster response. It's a live reference value that fluctuates with your local network and server load, and it doesn't represent actual download speed. Don't pick a server on the lowest number alone; server type and stability usually matter more.

4K video keeps buffering — how do I troubleshoot?

First work out where the slowdown is. If switching servers fixes it immediately, the original server was congested. If every server behaves the same, check whether other devices are eating your local bandwidth. 4K playback needs more bandwidth than ordinary browsing, so choose a dedicated-line or direct server, and avoid large downloads while you watch.

How many countries and regions does VPNAK cover?

Currently 110+ countries / 160+ servers, in three types: IEPL dedicated lines, relay and direct. Popular regions include Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, the United States and Germany; the locations page has the full list by region plus advice on picking a server.

Billing & Refunds

Three monthly plans, three data packs, payment methods and the 7-day refund process — full pricing is on the plans page.

What plans are available, and how much data does each include?

There are three monthly plans: ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB and ¥28/month with 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date — sign up on the 5th, for example, and your allowance renews on the 5th each month. 60GB is generally enough for light browsing; for long video sessions or AI tools, choose the 250GB tier or above.

Do data packs expire?

No. Data packs last until you use them up and never expire; they're counted separately from the monthly plan allowance that resets each month. There are three tiers: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They suit people whose usage varies, or who need a one-off top-up in a given month.

How do I request a refund?

VPNAK offers a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. Just open a ticket in the user panel saying you'd like a refund; support will process it through your original payment method. You don't need to give a reason, and it won't stop you from buying again later.

Which payment methods are supported?

Alipay, WeChat Pay and USDT are supported — choose one at checkout. Your plan activates as soon as payment completes, and you can check remaining data and expiry in the user panel overview.

I want to upgrade mid-term — how is the price difference calculated?

Upgrades are prorated by the remaining days, so you don't have to buy a whole new plan. In the user panel's plans page, pick the next tier up and upgrade directly; the prorated amount appears at checkout, and the change takes effect once you confirm.

Didn't find your question?

For individual issues with your account, payment or subscription, open a ticket from the user panel and describe what you're seeing and which platform you're on. The thread stays in the ticket so you can look back at it.
